Week 12

This week was the last week of teaching.
For the zine project we had the final lecture and it was about methods of printing and making our zines.
I personally think I’m going to mine digitally and then print it but it was really interesting. In fact, I had a go on making a little notebook with the material that Hannah brought.
I found it very fun and I’d love to get deeper in this book binding world.
After experimenting with this, I carried on with the actual project. I showed Hannah what I had so far and her approval made me feel better about my idea, but I keep doubting about it, because I don’t know how I’m going to approach it. I want to combine this two element, the old love letters and the contemporary style and graphical feel. But I still don’t know how to do it and make it coherent.
I have other similar ideas that could use instead, like using songs that I like and I illustrate them or do something related to the title .
I will have to thought about this and come up with something that I truly like and that I’m going to enjoy doing it, which is something that I miss at the moment when I do my work.
The character that I’ve been working on is a love heart that is going to be present in the illustration but I won’t be the main character in all of them.I was thinking that maybe it could just one of the links between the poems.
