WEEK 1
This week began with the stop motion animation style for the first time.
We paired up, and we started the new project.
We had to create an animation using pieces of fabric, textured paper or magazine clippings.
Me and Rodrigo, while we were cutting some paper and picking colours, we started to decided what we wanted to tell in our story. Which it was a quite fast process, because as soon as we found a little bird house and a car, we thought that could do a chasing, where the car was chasing the house and at the end the house somehow would disappear.
We cut some different coloured paper to use for the background and then we thought about animating letter for the introduction and the end.
We found some sounds for the jumping bits and a jazz funny song as the main theme.
The film wasn't finished at the end of the class, so we stayed for a little longer so we could finish it.
It was very easy to work with my classmate, as we agreed in almost everything and respect each others ideas, and we had individual and joint tasks.
I really enjoyed this project, I think it was very fun. We learnt how to use the stop motion set up and Dragon Frame, which was quite easy to understand.
The only part that it was a bit more tedious was finding the letters for the intro and cutting them.
Overall really nice activity.
Here is the video (but without the sound)
